St. Marys
EST. 1844
St. Marys, also known as the Stonetown, is a community of 7200 people, just a short drive from several larger centres.
Only 15 minutes from Stratford, 20 minutes from London, and 45 from Kitchener/Waterloo. Well known for its limestone architecture, it is often voted one of the most beautiful towns in Ontario.
Another major attraction is the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame, which draws many former major league players to the annual induction weekend on the Hall’s historic grounds. Just down the hill from the Hall of Fame is the famous Quarry, Canada’s largest outdoor swimming pool!
St. Marys is also a fiercely competitive hockey community, home of the St. Marys Rock Minor Hockey Association. The Rock and Lincolns play out of the Pyramid Recreation Centre which boasts two ice pads, aquatics centre, community centre and friendship centre.
There are two elementary schools, one high school, and the St. Marys Memorial Hospital. St. Marys features the necessary amenities, while still offering the small town charm.
